The Eight of Cups is an Ultra Taken Phalanx seen in the Takedown in the Nine's Realm. A byproduct of a glitch within the Nine's realm, the Taken Phalanx would soon find itself within the ranks of the spectral Axis Mind Echo. Only bearing the goal of serving what would have been the Nine's challenge, the Eight of Cups would be seen during the Empress encounter with the intent of protecting the Blight Spheres responsible for creating the counterfeit Taken.
