Balvog, Shield of Oryx is a Taken Knight who serves as the boss of the Dread Patrol quest and a Patrol mission. He is located in the Trenchway of the Dreadnaught and can be summoned by killing Taken.
Gameplay
Balvog tries to stop the Guardian from planting patrol beacons on the Dreadnought with his Boomer and his ability to both teleport and fire Solar jets, but is ultimately defeated along with his command, and the Guardian establishes a secure connection with the Vanguard.
