Sjalla is a Cryptarch of the Hygeia Division. On the eve of the battle against the Witness, Mara Sov conferred with her to determine what would happen when the Darkness from the Witness and the Light from the Traveler commingled. Sjalla believed they would combine to become something more powerful; formed from the memories of those who had witnessed the end, just as the Awoken were.[1]
