Multi-Threaded Snare Refit Catalyst (for Wish-Keeper) |
Constellation: Lock is a quest for Season of the Wish. It is available after completing the Step 29 of the Wishing All the Best quest.
StepsEdit
StartEdit
- Speak with Mara in the H.E.L.M.
"Petra has come to me with a report, straight from her Corsairs. An anomaly has appeared above the Dreaming City, and they are requesting input from any expert I may have. In this case, it seems you may be the likeliest expert."
Mara tips her head to you, acknowledgment only semi-ironic.
Visit the Dreaming City with Wish-Keeper to investigate the celestial anomaly.
Step 1Edit
A celestial anomaly has appeared within the Dreaming City. Bring Wish-Keeper with you on your investigations.
- Travel to the Dreaming City.
- Dreaming City visited: 0/1
Step 2Edit
Wish-Keeper hums in your grasp, urging you toward the Spine of Keres.
- Travel to the Spine of Keres and find the source of the celestial anomaly.
- Celestial Anomaly located: 0/1
The Guardian finds a celestial anomaly in the Spine of Keres and reveals its message; points of starlight in the sky.
Step 3Edit
Wish-Keeper yearns to touch the stars and uncover the meaning in their patterns.
- Reveal the hidden message.
- Message revealed: 0/1
With Wish-Keeper in hand, the Guardian connects the points of starlight, revealing the constellation of the Lock and unlocking its inscription.
Step 4Edit
A remnant waits. A message lingering, left behind for its audience. Will you hear it?
- Collect the inscription.
- Inscription collected: 0/1
The Guardian listens to the message inscribed.
- Riven: At the height of the Great Hunt, the queen separated us. I was treated to a beautiful cage. For my protection. Our kind has much agency, but there are rules. And the queen is a deft navigator of rules. I never saw Taranis again. I have not found Ahamkara to lament such things. But I did. The path that brought you here was built by us both. No others that I have ever known walked your path. You are unique in that way.
- Queen Mara Sov: I lost Sjur like Riven lost Taranis, years before that. And there was no cage. Just senseless oblivion. I didn’t know I had done so at the time... But I do not regret the choice to separate Riven and Taranis. I imagine it was difficult. Much more so for them, than me. But necessary. The Vanguard had no right to annihilate a sentient species — no matter the cause. I bear responsibility as well. Pretended to aid the Vanguard during the Hunt while keeping Riven as a weapon of the state. Don’t get me wrong. I was responsible. Not regretful. But thanks to you, the cycle of Wish-Keepers and Wish-Enders will continue. For good or ill.
Step 5Edit
The lingering paracausal energy from Riven's message should be reunited with Taranis's remains.
- Complete Exotic mission "Starcrossed" on Legend difficulty.
- Mission completed: 0/1
The Guardian completes Starcrossed (Legend) and reunites the energy with Taranis’s remains.
- New nominal data oscillates across the Vex network.
A second and third platform of Awoken crystal manifest near Taranis’s remains.
