Grenade Logic is a Destiny 2 quest for Season of the Witch. It is available after acquiring the exotic weapon Ex Diris.

Start

"What are you doing?" Banshee-44 exclaims as you place the weapon before him. "You can't just take guns from the Hive and expect me to..."

He trails off as he picks up the weapon and turns it over in his hands.

"Who's been working on this? Eris?" he wonders to himself. "She must have had Brya help."

He holds one of the dangling cards between his metal fingers and squints.

"These use Hive magic to keep the weapon intact, huh?" he says. "Smart. A little creepy, but smart."

Finally, he nods and hands the weapon back.

"You don't need to be a thanatonaut to see this thing has some deep ties to the other side. You want to earn its respect, you'll have to do a lot of killing, and not as much dying."

Step 1

• Recreate the Ex Diris catalyst by defeating multiple targets in rapid succession and defeating targets without dying.

Step 2

• Calibrate data and defeat targets while using Ex Diris. Calibration occurs when you complete Vanguard Operations, Gambit and Crucible matches, or Seasonal playlist activities.
  Higher-tier Nightfall completions, Crucible and Gambit wins, and defeating Guardians provide additional progress.

Step 3

• Return to Banshee-44 to receive the calibrated catalyst.

Banshee-44 takes the Grenade Launcher from you and applies the catalyst.

"I had to do some real research into Hive stuff to figure out how to get it just right," he says.

"Saw some old names," he mutters. "Stirred up some old memories."

Work complete, he hands the weapon back to you with a wink.

"If you use that thing on Crota, tell him Banshee sent you."
