Broken Puppet, Mind's Safeguard are a variant of Captain that appear as a pristine intact version of the Corrupted Puppeteer but wield Shock Rifle instead of the Wire Rifle seen in the hands of the Puppeteer themselves. They drop the Nuclear Cores you need to progress the encounter or survive the Boss's wipe dependant on where you are encountering them whether that be on the Outer Hull or inside the station.
Trivia
- Like the Puppeteer, the Exo body used by the Broken Puppets are identical in appearance to those used by Atraks-1, except their wing like on their back is sideways, and their eyes don't glow prominently; it is unknown if the two are actually related in some way.
