Kalrix, the Unwavering Claw is a Fallen Captain, who became the Kell of the Fallen House of Vipers. Formerly a member of the House of Winter and the son of Draksis, Winter Kell, Kalrix would wrest control of the Vipers following the infighting with its nobility. From there, he would seek out relics from the Hive to be of use for survival, leading to the discovery of an ancient weapon that was corrupted into a Weapon of Sorrow, becoming a centerpiece for the Vipers in extraction of its Corrupting Poison for their use of power.

He would slowly be driven to the brink of insanity by the weapon, convinced that The Witness is testing him to become one of his Disciples, causing him to seek out for its favor, serving as a driving point of the capture of Joskaa, Lion Kell and the events of Season of the Vipers.
