Lin lived in Patch Run with her mother Mei and her daughter. After hearing of the Last City, they set course from Veruna but eventually Mei told them to go ahead as she was slowing them down. Lin and her daughter made it to the City, and asked Saint-14 to find Mei. He rescued Mei and brought her to the City.[1]
