Lindwyrms are colossal, super-heavy Vex tank units first developed by the Vex' Torus Enhancive, and first appeared in the Reforged Episode.

Gameplay

Lindwyrms are among the largest units the Vex can employ onto the field. Despite their extreme size, these units can temporarily hover as they search for a good vantage point from which they can bring their ordnance to bear. In this state, they can use their main weapons to fire infrequent, yet extremely powerful blasts from their   Epoch Driver and fire off blasts from their   Slap Repeaters. Finding a spot the unit deems viable, it will land back onto the ground, more often than not outright killing anyone underneath it as it descends into its new perch. Upon getting comfortable, the Lindwyrm will begin altering between firing modes with its main guns, either using the nevertheless strong barrage of bolts from the Epoch Driver or using the extremely devastating blasts from an   Epoch Lance. In addition to using Slap Repeaters, the Lindwyrm will also launch arcing and slightly tracking   Causal Flares to rain down on any incoming enemy, which can prove devastating. As a last resort, these artillery units can also utilize their emplacement claws as weapons, more often than not proving fatal to their adversaries.
