Crystal Hoarders are Scorn Chieftains that are encountered within the Altars of Summoning. They can be easily recognized by the glow of Solar Light that suffuses their bodies, granted by the crystal they carry on their back.

Gameplay

Crystal Hoarders appear in Mission: Conjure and as part of an encounter of the Altars of Summoning activity. When the encounter starts, a horde of Scorn, which can include Stalkers, Corrupted Wraiths and Lacerated Abominations depending on the strength of the offering, will appear in the center of the arena. Soon after, Crystal Hoarders will start appearing from the doors and holes in the arena. Killing a Hoarder will make it drop its Solar Crystal, which must be deposited in vases at the center of the arena. Once all vases are filled, whose number can range from 3 to 7, the encounter is complete.

• The encounter features Scorn with both yellow and purple armors.
