Halsiks is a Vandal of the House of Spider.

Overview

SCUR-V looks much like any Spider's Associate, armored with a suit covered in green quills and wearing a full face helmet. He always uses a Wire Rifle, and he's described as "deadly with it", with characters often remarking on his keen eyes and shooting prowess.

Halsiks came to The Spider's rescue when he was captured by the House of Salvation and brought to Riis-Reborn. He got pinned down by a group of foes in the Technocrat's Iron, but that resulted in them being distracted from The Guardian's approach. He joined the Guardian in helping the other Associates, SCUR-V and the Skiffblades, who were engaged in a firefight in the Crux of Darkness room of the Riis-Reborn Approach. Later on, it joined the other Associates in flanking Keelhaal of House Salvation in the Gale's Watch, helping the Guardian finish the Captain.

It would later join the Guardian's crew in hunting the artifacts of Darkness, often joining the battle on the front lines.

Gameplay

Halsiks can be summoned as a Crewmate, with a green banner signaling his availability. He fights much like any Vandal, but is completly invulnerable to damage. As long as he's in the field, the fireteam will gain improved precision damage. If he's your chosen First Mate, he will grant even further improved damage, as well as improve Grenade regeneration. Unlocking Halsiks at the Star Chart will also unlock the possibility of obtaining Treasure Coordinates from defeated combatants.
