Season of the Beast is the twenty-eighth season of Destiny 2 and the first season of The Void Within expansion. Though it technically began on September 10th, 2024 with the release of The Void Within, the first story missions were not released until two weeks after on September 24th. After the conclusion of the Void Crisis, Brayden, Emperor's Hand and Dorvok, the Lightblade call upon the The Guardian to help them track down the Ahamkara Mephisto.
Description
TRACK DOWN THE WEAVER
Sometime following the death of Scyva and the end of the Void Crisis, peace seems to have settled over the system. However, many enemies of the city remain at large, including the Ahamkara Mesphisto. Originally believed to have perished during the Crisis, it was revealed that the Weaver had been playing the Coalition, and still hides amongst the outer edges of the system. Help Brayden and Dorvok track him down and prevent Mesphisto from plotting against The Last City...
