Hemolymph Repair Shanks are unique Heavy Shank units deployed in the Titan Flashpoint.
Gameplay
Hemolymph Repair Shanks have much more health than regular Heavy Shanks, and can repair Arsenal Walkers if not attended to. They are outfitted with Void machine guns that can kill Guardians in seconds. Their weak spot is the purple opening on the front of its chassis.
Trivia
- Hemolymph is a circulatory fluid (different from blood) found on Earth in arthropods. Since the Fallen are insectoid, their circulatory fluid (assuming they have any) may very well be closer to hemolymph than blood.
- However, this does not really explain the use of the term for a vehicle used to repair combat mechs, as, so far as is known, the mechs are not organic.
- It is possible the mechs, or Fallen equipment in general, are biotechnological, although there is no confirmation for this idea at present.
