Bah’nok’s Assault is a Legendary Void Pulse Rifle acquired from The Vessel encounter within the Pit of the Quarantine. Originally created by Enkaar, the Anointed after Oryx’s onslaught of Riis, the weapon was lost for centuries and became forgotten in the wake of newer armaments. The rifle was rediscovered by Cane during the Great Ahamkara Hunt, in which he attuned it to adhere to its other kin.

Intrinsic Traits[edit]
- Precision Frame: This weapon’s recoil pattern is more predictably vertical.
- Blight of Sorrow: Reloading after a precision kill makes the next burst blight its target. Blighted targets will temporarily become blind and take damage over time.

I found this one a few decades back. Cold and sharp, obviously of Hive origin. Trigger wouldn’t pull when I found it. Just made a weird humming sound and smoked from the muzzle.
Took me a little while to get it working, whoever made this has some interesting knowledge on weaponry. Death loops and soul energy, don’t wanna wrack my brain trying to figure out how that works. Nothing a little taken energy can’t fix, of course.
Figured out something strange while working on it, though. The weapon seems connected to two far sources, radio waves being sent as outbound signals and slight gravitational pull. Can’t tell if I did something wrong, or if this thing’s got its eye on me.
Whatever it may be, nice to add another specimen to the collection.

- This weapon’s intrinsic ability shares a similarity with the exotic grenade launcher, Witherhoard.
