The Initiation Ring is a Crucible map released in Season of Plunder. Taking place in a gladiatorial arena located under Firebase Cerberus, it is used by the Dune Raiders to test any individual Cabal or crew of Cabal seeking to join the Dune Raiders after pledging allegiance to Lau'urc, similar to a Rite of Proving. Following their encounter on the Leviathan during Season of the Haunted, Lau'urc provided the data of the arena to The Coalition, who then passed it to Lord Shaxx
