Chieftains are the commanding Scorn unit. They are capable of utilizing a series of elemental totems with varying effects.

Overview

The Solar totem used by the Chieftains acts as a flame turret which spins streams of fire which can burn away at their targets. Alternatively, there is also a Void totem which can project shield rays onto nearby allies similar to Servitors. Chieftains can even use Arc totems which chains Guardians to it in an attempt to allow other Scorn units to close the distance and kill their target; destroying this totem will break the chain.

Along with a variety of weapons, the Chieftains are not limited to a single shield element type and can appear with either Solar, Arc or Void shields. Having at least one weapon for each element prepared is advised in order to adapt to whatever shield they possess.
