Ayane Takanome was the leader of Takanome's Rangers, who wielded sniper rifles to protect refuges along the road to the growing city under the Traveler during the Dark Age. Ayane and her Rangers were eventually replaced by Guardians, and while many remembered their efforts to protect the growing City, some began to claim that they were simply a myth. Hunters used a set of armor named in the Ranger's honor, while Ayane had a cloak dedicated to her.[1][2][3][4]
