Shuro Chi was an Awoken Techeun who served the Queen, Mara Sov. She assisted the Queen several times, once to reach out to straying Awoken,[1] and another as a bodyguard since the Wolf Rebellion.[2] Shuro also served as liaison between the Techeuns and the other Awoken, particularly the Queen's Wrath Petra Venj, ameliorating personality clashes and distrust.[3]
During the Wolf Rebellion, Chi participated in a discussion with Prince Uldren Sov, Paladin Yasmin Eld, and Petra Venj on Skolas' attempts to rally the House of Kings.[4]
Before the fateful Battle of Saturn Shuro participated in a rare meeting with the Coven, discussing what to do about Oryx, the Taken King.[5] She was instructed by Illyn to take the youngest Harbingers to "plant them" into the Dreadnaught, "to have children of their own".[5]
Shuro was later killed when Oryx unleashed the Dreadnaught's superweapon in retaliation for deploying the Harbingers.[6]
