Unstable Incendiors are a variant of the Blood Guard Incendior seen in commanding positions amongst Battlegrounds for the Red Legion and Imperial Cabal.[1][2][3]
Gameplay
Unstable Incendior join the battle during Battlegrounds activities. During Behemoth and Hailstone, they will appear in the second and third encounter respectively, after enough Cabal have been defeated. They will come down via Drop Pod, alongside two War Beasts, while numerous Psions are transported via Harvester. During Oracle, they will arrive once enough Vex have been killed in the second encounter.
In both cases, their main task is protecting the Volatile Fuel Cells, which the fireteam needs to pry out of their corpses. These cells can be thrown at generators or Vex shields to instantly destroy them. If an Unstable Incendior is killed, but its bomb is used without destroying the array, an Unstable War Beast will be summoned. During Season of the Chosen until the end of Season of the Lost, the last Unstable Incendior in a wave was exchanged with an Unstoppable Incendior.
