Blind Perdition is a legendary pulse rifle available from the Trials of Osiris. It can be obtained from either bounties or achieving a 7+ win Trials card
Gameplay
Blind Perdition is a member of the low impact, high fire-rate archetype of pulse rifles that became particularly popular in the later stages of Destiny 1. A younger sibling to its flawless version, Blind Perdition (Adept), it lacks the intrinsic perk Snapshot. Despite this, for Guardians unable to reach the Lighthouse to obtain the adept version, Blind Perdition still provides an exceptional pick for many activities. While mainly a PvP weapon, seeing very little action outside of the Crucible, it is not restrained to non-PvE activities due to its versatility and ease of use.
Perks
- Smooth Ballistics: Increased recoil, Boost to range.
- Smart Drift Control: Predictable and controllable recoil. Penalty to range.
- CQB Ballistics: Greatly reduced recoil. Significant penalty to range.
- Hand-laid Stock: Increased, stability, reduced range.
- Smallbore: Increased range and stability. Slower reload. Reduced magazine size.
- Hand Loaded: this weapon is effective at an extended range.
- High-Caliber Rounds: Oversize rounds built to stagger targets and leave them reeling. Their mass makes a weapon harder to handle.
- Outlaw: Precision kills with this weapon dramatically increase reload speed.
- Counterbalance: This weapon has increased stability.
Trivia
- The Blind Perdition is one of only a few weapons in Destiny that have sights that can see through obstacles such as smoke and grenades. Every Year 3 Trials weapon has these sights.
