Lissyl was an Awoken Techeun who served Queen Mara Sov. As of Forsaken, she is regarded as dead.[4]
Before the fateful Battle of Saturn Lissyl participated in a rare meeting with the Coven, discussing what to do about Oryx, the Taken King.[3] She was practical, knowing what needed to be done.[3]
Sometime after the Battle of Saturn the surviving (as it seemed) Techeuns - Illyn, Portia, Nascia and Lissyl herself - would study the power of the Taken and how to control it. During one such session, Illyn inadvertently attracted Riven to their location and presumably caused them all to perish.[1]
