The Imperial Cabal are a royal faction of Cabal that follows Empress Caiatl and her War Council. During Season of the Chosen, many Cabal from the Red Legion rally to her banner as commanders to complete in Rites of Proving for a seat on her War Council.

History

Seeking out the Legion

Shortly after the Black Fleet's arrival and disappearance of the various planets, Empress Caiatl sent various emissaries to the Sol System in order to scout for the remnants of the Red Legion. One such emissary met nine other legionnaires in a gathering for tribute in The Boil which later turned out to be the site of a Cryptolith and Wrathborn as observed by Osiris.

Claimant for Recognition After the failed claimant for tribute, Caiatl and what remained of the Cabal from Torobatl, arrived in the Solar System in order to claim more champions for her army.
