Barons are high-ranking Fallen who command one or more Skiffs and their respective crews.
Overview
Barons are high-ranking Fallen, that are able to outrank Captains, who only lead a crew of Fallen, but Barons are only subservient to their House's Archon, Kell, and/or Prime Servitor.[1] A House's Kell allows their Barons to take some of the largest shares of ether, allowing them to grow to several times the height of a lowly Dreg.[2]
Gameplay
Barons are a variant of the standard Fallen Captain. While they lack any unique weapons or abilities, Barons possess stronger shields and yellow health bars, and can usually be found guarding an important objective or leading a Fallen assault in story missions and strikes.[1]
