The Eye in the Dark is a powerful Shrieker that was taken from the Prison of Elders by escaping Hive fleeing to Mars. It can only be found on the Wanted: Eye in the Dark bounty. It can be found either in the Ma'adim Subterrane or the Core Terminus.

Gameplay

First, the player must kill Cursed Thralls called The Wormcursed, which, upon death, drop a green puddle. The player must stand in this puddle until they receive the “Scent of the Worm” buff to awaken the Eye. When the fight begins, the Eye will open and start blasting the player and will summon Hive to protect the Shrieker. Every once in a while, the Shrieker will teleport to a different location. Once the player loses the “Scent of the Worm” buff, or the Eye has lost a third of it's health, the Eye will close, and more Wormcursed Thralls will spawn. The process is to be repeated until it is destroyed.
