Jaren Ward was a Hunter and creator of The Last Word. Jaren and his colleagues went to hunt yor to end his reign of terror. One night during the hunt jaren went out to kill yor alone. Shin malphur and the other men heard the distinctive sounds of last word and thorn which they heard last.
Biography
He succeeded in liberating the village from its tyrant, the magistrate Loken.[1] Jaren became the second adoptive father to a local boy, Shin Malphur, who became his protégé.[2] However, Palamon was destroyed by Dredgen Yor, and Jaren himself was killed in pursuit of the attacker. His Ghost, however, was spared.[3]
