Andal Brask was the former Hunter Vanguard before Cayde-6 took the post.[1]
Overview
During the early City Age Andal was among those who assisted in the Faction Accords.[2]
Andal and Cayde were close friends, and he often spun wild stories about the Exo, on one occasion claiming Cayde was none other than Rasputin, making it part of a joke.[3]
On a mission, Andal Brask was murdered by the Fallen mercenary Taniks, the Scarred.[4] With Andal dead, Cayde-6 reluctantly assumed the Vanguard post in memory of his fallen friend,[1] taking up Andal's cloak in his memory.[5][note 1]
