I am not sure. I know they have been talking about doing SRL and Festival of the Lost. They have also hinted at other social activities they plan to introduce for folks who want to do more than race sparrows, but otherwise I do not think they have begun anything event-wise yet. No, just pragmatic. TTK was their biggest content drop since vanilla Destiny, and the quests from TTK are still relevant in order to level up to current Light-levels, with a lot of the grind taken away. Rise of Iron was crafted by Bungie's Live team, a significantly smaller force of manpower than the entire studio, which is all tied up in working on Destiny 2. Besides, most of ROI's content was focused on Earth with one or two Martian story missions.
