Echtar, Sword of Oryx is a Hive Knight that appears as a boss in A Sword Reforged when the Guardian must create their Sword but must defeat him first.

He is encountered in The Asylum on Patrol while on this Quest and possess an invincible shield and health bar that can only be broken and taken down by the player's Sword. He is assisted by the Silent Brood along with the unique Cursed Thrall variant Dredge Exploder. With team-work a fireteam team of two can easily defeat him, although it is not unheard of for higher Light-level players to deal with him alone.
