Lunar Battlegrounds is a location in the Ocean of Storms on the outskirts of the Scarlet Keep contested by the Vanguard seeking to stem the rise of the Hive, the Hidden Swarm who are attempting to extend their dominion and the Sol Divisive Vex attempting to keep these opponents from the Transfer Gate leading to the Black Garden.

Trivia

• The arena at the southern-most end of the Lunar Battlegrounds bears a similar layout to First Light, a Crucible map in Destiny.
