Devoured Ogres are powerful variants of Taken Ogres.
Gameplay
Devoured Ogres appear in the Last Wish Raid as part of the Shuro Chi encounter. One will spawn after the first time Shuro Chi is disrupted on each floor, an will attempt to slow down the fireteam, but can be brought down quickly.[1]
Two Devoured Ogres appear in the Malfeasance version of the Strike The Corrupted, where they accompany the Taken Knight Ashorc, Temple Claimant. The two, alongside the large amount of adds and Ashorc's disruptive abilities, can quickly overwhelm the player.[2]
Devoured Ogres appear in the Prophecy Dungeon, as part of the final encounter. Once one of the copies of the Kell Echo is made to flee, a Devoured Ogre will appear near its platform. It should be dispatched as soon as possible, as it can quickly kill a player distracted by the Taken Psions and Knight Echoes.[3]
A Devoured Ogre was summoned in the Forest of Echoes in defense of the Taken Blights that infested the area, manifesting inside the Well.[4]
