Louis is a Peregrine Falcon, and is the animal companion of Guardian associate Suraya Hawthorne.
Trivia
- Louis is the first named animal character in the Destiny series.
- There was a glitch involving Louis in the first year of Destiny 2. When the player accessed Hawthorne's vendor screen, Louis would occasionally start vibrating rapidly. What caused this glitch to occur is unknown, but it has since been patched. This glitch was later referenced during the Dawning in-game event in 2017, where the player could gift Hawthorne with Ornithological Sedatives.
- Louis is first seen in the game's introduction as a manifestation of Light, flying towards the Traveler.
