The Hand of Crota is a Hive Knight, and one of the targets in the Disciples of Crota Quest. He appears in the Grottos, and when facing him, your jump ability is disabled, and he is able to use a ranged attack with his cleaver. While fighting him, acolytes and thrall will spawn.
