Edyx, Exothermic Mind is a powerful Vex Minotaur appearing in the Strike Warden of Nothing. It is one of the commanding Axis Minds along with Apaktos, Oxidizing Mind still remaining in the Prison of Elders, and fights alongside the Warden.

Gameplay

Edyx will spawn at the same time as Zhagal, Disgraced Colossus when the Warden reaches a certain health checkpoint. Along with the other numerous Vex, it will rapidly bombard the player/s with Void blasts. On some occasions though, it could fight Zhagal and ignore the player. When fighting in a one versus one, Edyx will always lose due to the fact that Zhagal possesses a shield.

Trivia

• Based on the definition that "exothermic" means to release heat, Edyx's hypothetical purpose is to regulate temperatures in the Prison of Elders and cool off the Vex from enclosed heat and from the Warden itself.
• Edyx is one of few enemies that fight with a race that's not its.
• When the Warden is killed quick enough, Edyx will not spawn.
