Armor will be featured in Destiny, with a wide assortment. Each type of armor will have their own bonuses and abilities that are meant to be synergistic with the player's focus and weapons. Destiny will feature class-specific armor as well as general armor.[1] Armor is further divided into heads, arms, legs, and chest. Aesthetic elements such as capes,[2] colors (including dyes) and decals are/will be available.[3]
Rarity of armor is color coordinated into four tiers: basic (white), common (green), superior (purple), and exotic (gold).[1]
