"Behold my majesty. Behold my crushing might, my staggering size, my scales that shine with an oppressive gleam.
Behold my wings, which create winds that sweep through the stars.
"
— Yul

Yul, the Honest Worm is one of the five Worm Gods, ancient beings second only to the Darkness itself in the hierarchy of the Hive pantheon. Yul was the one who addressed the progenitors of the Hive - Aurash, Xi Ro, and Sathona - when the three sisters delved into the core of Fundament and encountered the Worms.[1] Sometime after the slaying of Akka, the Worm of Secrets by Oryx, the Taken King, Yul began planning to consume and absorb the power of Xol, Will of the Thousands, causing the Worm-God to flee alongside Oryx's abandoned son Nokris.[2]
