Faction Rallies is a week-long community activity introduced in Destiny 2.
Overview
Players can pledge themselves to one of the city's factions to collectively earn faction tokens for their factions (Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, Future War Cult) through various activities. These tokens are exchanged for various reward packages containing faction-specific armor, weapons, shaders, etc. The prize is that which ever faction earns the most reward packages has their most powerful weapon available for sale to all players for 50,000 glimmer. Players who belong to that faction can purchase it for a steep discount of 1,000 glimmer.[1]
