The Citadel is a Vex fortress located on Venus in the Waking Ruins. [1] [2]
Overview
Rising from the ruins of Venus, it is speculated that the Citadel was seeded in the crust long ago, waiting for a period of geological quiescence, so it could grow. [3] During the Golden Age, the Ishtar Collective sent proxies to explore the Vex gate network.[4] According to some, the stone used in its construction is eons old, yet it contains technology vastly surpassing humanity's own.[5]
