An Auto rifle is a class of firearm featured in Destiny. It is a magazine-fed weapon that, as its name suggests, automatically remove the spent cartridge case, cock the rifle, load a new cartridge and fire again repeatedly, as long as the trigger is held down or until the magazine is exhausted. Automatic rifles are distinguished from scout and pulse rifles in their ability to fire constantly once the trigger is pulled.
