- Well, you're going somewhere that isn't so simple. Let me put it this way: Taken leave blights wherever they go, so that is a sign that blights, in their own right, do not summon Taken troops. Whoever is the leader of the Taken controls the blights and the flow of Taken that goes through them. In other words, Oryx, the Taken King summoned Taken troops through blights, and Malok, Pride of Oryx did the same.
