Val Bho'kaurl is a large Cabal Colossus, Val of the Shadow Legion and commander in its ranks. They are briefly seen in the beginning of the Downfall mission[1], near the end of the mission to protect the Radial Mast and later acting as the final boss of the No Time Left.[2]
Gameplay

Val Bho'kaurl appears after the Guardian is rendered exhausted from their unrefined use of Strand at the order of Emperor Calus. Val Bho'kaurl is completely undamageable due to a permanent and unsubvertible immunity shield. After holding out for a minute, Empress Caiatl sends in an Empress's Thresher to free the Guardian, allowing them to escape Bho'kaurl's grasp.
During this fight Bho'kaurl mostly relies on their cluster missiles on only uses their slug launcher when they have a clear shot on the Guardian.
No Time Left
Val Bho'kaurl appears again as the final boss of No Time Left. They are far more aggressive than their previous encounter, always attempting to get in the Guardian's way and relying on their support to flush the Guardian out of cover. Once Bho'kaurl reaches two thirds of their health, they'll erect an immunity shield which must be destroyed by eliminating the Pyramid Goliaths that arrive to assist Bho'kaurl. This can be done by finding a Strand anomaly below the arena and destroying a Suppressor found elsewhere. After the Suppressor is destroyed, a Drake can be called in via the front of the map behind the Cloud Strider mural. Once the Pyramid Goliaths are destroyed, Bho'kaurl becomes vulnerable again.
