Taken Adherents are sub variants of Taken Acolytes. They are notable for being former Adherents of the Grasp of Nokris that were Taken by Shin'ra, the Sorrow-Maker.

Gameplay

Unlike Taken Acolytes, Taken Adherents have a unique ability to overcharge their Solar Soulfire Rifle to a concussive Arc bolt called Adherent Wrath that deals high damage and can temporarily blind combatants, akin to the Queenbreakers' Bow.
