Atraks-Corrupted Puppeteer explanation[edit]

For the sake of editors like me attempting to reconcile the whole discussion/dispute of Atraks-1 being The Corrupted Puppeteer, I figured we are owed a deep dive explaining the rationale why this wikia cannot recognize it. Just because they share the same in-game model is not implicit or even explicit evidence they are the same character. It’s Bungie reusing assets. Destinypedia has long since known about these oversights or inconsistencies since before I joined this wiki.
Destinypedia is not a speculative forum. We are not in the business of speculation; we only record what we see. Mentioning that The Corrupted Puppeteer shares a model with Atraks-1, Fallen Exo is okay; trying to use that as justification they are the same character or that one is inspired by the other is against Destinypedia’s rules.
We have forums, including Forum:Fan Fiction, where you can write your own fanfic about this and that regarding Destiny. They exist precisely for this reason.
