The Winding Cove is a landing zone in the European Dead Zone on Earth. A riverside area, it holds little of interest. House of Dusk Fallen have established a camp near the crashed Skiff on the cliffs, and the Red Legion sends in Mining Landers periodically.
Xûr, Agent of the Nine can appear in the are, near the crashed Skiff.
History
The Winding Cove would be the center of a skirmish during the Red War, when a gang of Fallen Pike riders set up their operations in the area.
During the Battle of the Forges, The Guardian would start the search for the missing Black Armory supplies in the area.
One of Rasputin's Seraph Towers array was set up in the area during the Almighty Crisis, attracting many Fallen seeking to take control of it.
When the Shadow Legion invaded Earth on behalf of the Black Fleet, they set up one of their Shadow Legion Prisons in the area, detaining Amanda Holliday in it.
