— Shin Malphur, to the Young Wolf

Jonah Pavic, also known as Dredgen Mire, was a Guardian who joined the Shadows of Yor.[1] The group pretended to become ensnared by the Darkness to help allow their leader Shin Malphur, under the guise of Dredgen Vale, root and exterminate any Guardians who could not resist temptations of the Dark and forge a hero of the Light who could resist any temptation.[2] Once their mission was completed and the Young Wolf became the hero they sought, Jonah disappeared alongside Shin and the other surviving Shadows with their future plans unknown.[3]
