Minotaurs are a type of Vex. They are large, broad-shouldered, heavy infantry machines that glare out from three glowing eyes.[1] As protectors of various Vex portals and sectors, the Minotaurs stand out among their troops, leading the attack. [2].

Gameplay

Minotaurs are one of the deadliest Vex troops Guardians will ever encounter due to their explosive weaponry and unpredictable movements. Minotaurs are fearless and will always charge down on their targets while firing their Torch Hammer, and will erratically teleport while doing so to flank Guardians at different angles. To reinforce their armor, they are also equipped with a Void shield. One important thing to know about Minotaurs is they lack a weak spot. Although shooting a Minotaur's head off will disable its teleportation ability as well as its shield, it will only become even more dangerous, going berserk and firing their Torch Hammers in rapid succession while charging Guardians. In this state they can punch through a Guardian's shield in seconds.
