The Blackened Forest is a location in the European Dead Zone on Earth. It is only visited during the Story mission Spark. Like The Dark Forest, the Blackened Forest is a region of wilderness that has been warped by the corrupted energy of the Shard of the Traveler. The Guardian journeys here during the Red War to investigate the Shard, and succeeds in regaining their Light from a pure fragment.
