The Anathema appear during the Blind Well Public Event. They are always enemies of the faction currently featured that week (Scorn, Hive or Taken), and look much like normal Elite combatants of that faction, but highlighted with a noticeable glow. Killing an Anathema makes it drop a glowing orb, which will fall on the ground according to physics. A Guardian that touches this orb will collect it, and recieve the Harmony buff for fifteen seconds. During this time, their Super regeneration will be greatly increased, and their weapons will be able to damage the shields of Servants and Heralds of the Plague, as well as negate the "Touch of the Deep" effect that damages players and obscures vision during the first three phases of the activity.

The Anathemas are a group of Elite enemies that participate in the assault to the Dreaming City's Blind Well.[1]

Gameplay

The Anathema appear during the Blind Well Public Event. They are always enemies of the faction currently featured that week (Scorn, Hive or Taken), and look much like normal Elite combatants of that faction, but highlighted with a noticeable glow. Killing an Anathema makes it drop a glowing orb, which will fall on the ground according to physics. A Guardian that touches this orb will collect it, and receive the "Harmony" buff for fifteen seconds. During this time, their Super regeneration will be greatly increased, and their weapons will be able to damage the shields of Servants and Heralds of the Plague, as well as negate the "Touch of the Deep" effect that damages players and obscures vision during the first three phases of the activity.
