- — Weapon description
Word of Crota is a Level 20 Legendary Hand Cannon acquired as a random drop from defeating Crota, Son of Oryx on Heroic difficulty. It has since been reissued in Destiny 2 as a reward, once again, from the Crota's End raid.
Gameplay
This weapon is part of the high rate-of-fire and low-impact Hand Cannon archetype. Since the weapon is only available as a Year 1 drop, it is mostly only used in the Crucible due to the fact that most modes don't enable Light level advantages.
