The Iron Lords were a group of Guardians who defended the Last City in its early days, and who are now honored during the Iron Banner.[1] Little is known about them other than they first came to being during the beginning of the City Age,[2] and fought at the battle of Six Fronts.[3] All of them, save for Saladin Forge, sacrificed themselves to contain the biomechanical plague SIVA. Their sacrifices are honored at the Temple of the Iron Lords at Felwinter's Peak, and celebrated via the Iron Banner tournament. Their names are lent to various Iron Banner equipment. A similar group, the Iron Wolves, is likewise honored by the Iron Banner.[citation needed]
