- "You are a Thrall. Numberless spawn of the Hive. Shrieking and expendable: one pebble in an avalanche. [...] But you are predictable. Frail. You cannot pass through fire and shot. You need to be elusive. There is a knife for you. It's shaped like [sideways]. Take up the knife. Use it. Take your new shape."
- — Grimoire description
The Taken Thrall is a type of Taken Hive which has the ability to teleport short distances in an instant. Its claws deal Solar damage. They retain the swarming and intelligence of ordinary Thrall but are more elusive.
Gameplay
Much like their normal counterpart, Taken Thralls move in large swarms and try to get in melee with the enemy as fast as possible. However, they rarely run in a straight line across the battlefield, instead contnuously teleporting over each other, making it harder to get shot from a distance. They can use this teleportation even up close, allowing them to dodge melee attacks and quickly retaliate. Still, they are weak, and die in few shots from almost every weapon.
